Game Season 2008 Host Families
Make a Wildcat part of your family!
If you love baseball and the idea of sharing your home with a possible future professional baseball player, we have an opportunity for you to be a host family! Help us keep this high level of in Seaside by volunteering be a host family. Host families provide a safe and comfortable environment and help players feel welcome to and part of our community.
The Seaside Wildcats are now taking applications for host families for the 2008 season. This summer the Wildcats will bring 15-20 talented college baseball players from all across the country to Seaside. From June 10 to July 31 these young aspiring ball players will hone their skills by playing 40 games. Host families house, feed and provide the players with support throughout the summer.
Here's the Pitch:
*Provide a home and bed for players(s) during the Wildcats season.
*Your family receives free season passes, good for entry to all Wildcat home games & games played in Portland.
*Your family will be invited to attend special events.
*The player will be a positive role model for your children.
*You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the future of a young man.
*Your family will have the opportunity to build a lasting relationship with a talented young man with lots of great memories to share for years to come.
