Collegiate Baseball of the West is proud to announce that the Pacific Javelinas, Portland Titans and Seaside Wildcats return in 2008 for year number two of the NW Collegiate League along with indpendent teams, Aloha Warriors, Central Oregon Bucks, Olympia Athletics, Showtime Vancouver and Tacoma Cardinals, forming the eight team NW Collegiate League for the 2008 season. The NWCL is a collegiate wood bat summer league. The 2008 NWCL season kickoffs June 14 & 15, 2008 with teams playing 34-36 games between NWCL and tournament play. NWCL play will concluded with the NWCL Championship Tournament July 26 & 27 in Seaside, Oregon. The NWCL will play games at some very nice baseball venues also, here are those venues: Bend Bucks                                           - Vince Genna Stadium Pacific Javelinas                                   - Sckavone Field Portland Titans                                     - Sckavone Field Seaside Wildcats                                  - Broadway Park Olympia Athletics and Tacoma Cardinals, by their own choosing, will be travel only teams in 2008. The NWCL invites you to come out to the ballparks this summer and enjoy some great collegiate summer baseball action.
